I admit, it's looking more likely now, but it's all still one hell of a dubious rumour. And (here's the important part) pretty much everyone here automatically assumed the whole thing was gospel from the word go, when the "evidence" was even less convincing than it is now.
Even if they turn out to be right, that won't do them any credit.
