There were no seances in the Reagan White House.
Yeah, I know you are an older guy, but your claim is false nonetheless.
I guess back in the days when you were supposed to be around the watercooler, we can consider those days as your "phony conservative days".

So, after all these years of saying the right was better (I was there saying it with you), more mature, less whiney, not prone to conspiracy, more honest - you're now saying that because the left did it, it's okay for you now too? No my friend, THAT's hypocracy.
And yes, I DO expect respect for the President of the United States. Just like I did for LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush.

You are a phony. You were a phony conservative then turned around and became a leftist and joined in on the same despicable behavior the left was doing. You are a hypocrite.
Now for some reason you think the right should not criticize Obama? WTF?
If he needs to be criticized, he will be criticized. It won't be done in the same despicable fashion the left has done to the current president, but he will be criticized.
It's called free speech. Maybe dissent is now a one way street with you now that you are a leftist. Maybe you... like some others... for some reason believe he should be protected from dissent because he is the first black president. That sounds very un-American. If he wants the top job, he has to be able to take any criticism that comes his way.
Obama is good at passing out the criticism and attacks. He damn better be good enough to be on the receiving end of attacks. Otherwise he is unworthy of the job.
If not... his weakness is greater than what many suspect.
I don't think the right will be as despicable as the left has been. But for you to be demanding "respect" when none has been shown from your newly found comrades, is despicable in itself... and very hypocritical.
