In the sense that their headquarters are here yes. But most of these companies are true multinationals with deals going all over the globe.
I heard a guest on a radio show talking about how Ford wouldn't place pro American adverts during WW2 because he had plants in Europe making equipment for Hitler. He wanted to hedge his bets so he come down on the right side of whomever won the war.
It made me wonder, if we ended up in a major war, would any of these multinationals back us? Because oil could make or break a countries military overnight.
