A Note to Jim Bunning (R - KY)

Posted 2nd March 2010 at 01:08 AM by Sir Digalot

I know I am not in the state of kentucky although i do have family, unemployed family, who live there.
I am writing to impress upon you the most inconsiderate and frankly immature attitude you are taking to the extension of benefits thats is currently up for vote in the senate.
What you apparently fail to realise is that, because you are happily pulling in a paycheck with benefits, you do not care about the rest of the population, and representing a state with double digit unemployment,...

Should They Work Without Pay?

Posted 1st March 2010 at 07:05 PM by Sir Digalot

In recent light of the 2000 odd federal transportation workers who have been forced to work furloogh days thanks to the senate not doing it's job again, I think it is fair to demand that the first people in line for any pay cuts anf furloughs should be the senate and the house, they are, after all at the top of the federal food chain.

I wonder if they were paid on actual legislation passed how quickly some of these laws would be put through?

They do not seem to care about...

THE TOYOTA OF DEATH! (part 3)

Posted 23rd February 2010 at 04:07 PM by Sir Digalot

So this leads nicely on to the last section.

The total inability of drivers to actually drive.

I am not saying there is NOT a problem with toyotas, and i am probably one of tha last people to stand up for a massive corporation.

However, in past years other cars too have had similar issues, Audi springs to mind, in the early to mid 80s, that too was put down to 'driver error' whether in these cases it is or it is not is up for debate, the radio presenter...

THE TOYOTA OF DEATH! (part 2)

Posted 23rd February 2010 at 03:30 PM by Sir Digalot

continued from the last post...

I have been on the consumer end of corrosion or wear on wires, my 2008 equinox, had a similar issue where weird stuff was happenening ( guages dying, doors locking, engine not starting) thiswas due to wires rubbing throug the firewall (bulkhead) and shorting, what is interesting is that on more then one occasion the car defaulted to "limp home mode" where basically you lose all power and the engine idles enough to get you to a service station...

THE TOYOTA OF DEATH! (part 1)

Posted 23rd February 2010 at 01:31 PM by Sir Digalot

Okay now that I have got your attention.

Lets be a little objective here, is this really as big of an issue that we have been led to believe?

Toyota sell or more accuratly now, sold, about 8 million cars a year worldwide.

Lets just recount that yes 8 million enough for every single person in the city the size of London or Chicago to have a car each.

That is alot of cars, an aweful lot of cars, that is to say it is more cars then GM or Ford...
