I think that you will find irony alive and well in the colonies and that many people here will acknowledge that I am a past master in that regard.

Perhaps the fact that I do not flag those comments with smilies may tend to disguise that.

As far as the Queen is concerned I have made it abundantly clear here for years that I am a staunch republican (not the US political kind) and am hanging onto the perch until she drops off and Australia inevitably becomes a republic.

It is only in view of her past performance (keeping her nose right out of Australian business) and her advanced age that people are prepared to wait.

I will take a bet with anyone here that Charlie will never become King of Australia

DQ's interpretation is correct. I meanwhile made another political board my primary board for posting politics. Contrary to DQ, who posts on two boards in parallel, I don't have either the time or the energy to do so. I wouldn't want to cross-post the same stories on two boards and then read and respond to the same or very similar reactions. I may be back here at P&CA once in a while, but I won't be posting here regularly any longer.

Ok folks...again...talking about a poster who has moved on..This should not be in members feedback as it has nothing to do with the functionality of the board...
I will ask that if you have questions about a certain poster...by all means private message them.. or email them and ask them for yourself...
I am serious about keeping our board on focus ...dealing with those who are here and active in the board not those who have chosen to move on...
I miss some posters as well...however, I go to their profile ...and I message them..either through the pm system or via email..
So...let us all start off this year with a clean slate...
