Like I said, he was a pretty good governor.

Are you in favour of the death penalty Justin? If so are there limits as to who and what crimes it can be applied to?

I actually go back and forth and can see both sides. But at the end of the day, I tend to be in favor of it.
What crimes? Murder...rape of children...I'm sure there are others...and obviously not all criminals who commit murder or child rape should be given the death penalty.

Can we have a Welsh forum and a Scottish forum and a Northern Irish forum?
We might as well. |

A good arguement against further forums is that World Events is quiet enough and is expected to continue to be so, whilst the run up to the US Election continues.

Incidentally the same topic cropped up 4 years ago on the then fledgling P & CA concerning the need for a US Election Forum.
http://www.politicsandcurrentaffairs...opic.php?t=562 With hindsight Kramsret was right we needed it and we need it now, what with it being another election year. I'm still however not at all convinced we need additional country specific forums though. However a newsletter is coming soon. Then all the registered members of P & CA will then get a chance to vote. Although my decision is final

And when will Gilles and I get our French forum? Umpteen threads about Sarah Palin, and we still don't know who Rachida Dati's babydaddy is.

I voted no because when I inadvertently pop into a UK topic, I occasionally learn something.
Now if we were voting for an Australian forum I would be 100% in favor. They're all a bunch of troublemakers!

I realise that you have probably been speaking Swahali for the last few months but could you kindly sit down with your Swahali/English dictionery and rewrite that exposition so that we of the Great Unwashed may decipher your convoluted train of thought.

What else would such a twit as Charles support other than an embarrasing spectacle where grown men run around a paddock for an hour or so without any one of them being able to kick or headbut a ball through a couple of sticks at each end of the ground.
On the rare occasion that one person actually manages to achieve the unachievable he runs around the ground like a headless chook and tries to kiss all the men in his path. Charles and the farce that you call 'football' go well together.

Being an English Gal, I would love to have a forum to discuss what makes Great Britain so great, or not, as the case currently is. On the other hand, this place as a whole is pretty busy as it is.
