Deliberate misunderstanding of what the man said...... and that irritates me.

Oh come now, that's not the first time that the "Thou shalt not lie" crowd has misrepresented someone.

I have to laugh at the "They keep going to my movies," comment...While many of Stephen King's books have been made into movies, his fame is as an author. Then again, the original poster probably doesn't read much.

I used to work in publishing in NYC. Perhaps Stephen King should really talk about all those books he didn't write in the late 1980's to early 1990's. You know, the ones with his name on the cover.

what irritates me is when dolts like you defend the defensless, these illiterates provide him the ability to voice his opinion, an opinion which sucks by the way.

Stop trying to act like your spiritual, although he is famous for his writing, his movies attract large crowds many of whom are the military, how stupid to alienate
a part of society that hel[p make you rich.

Excuse me dear, I have not insulted you. How about some "do unto others"? It's ok, I forgive you.

And I think you mean "indefensible."

Well, you can take comfort in the fact that all his movies bomb at the box office. It's funny, they play well for the TV audience, drawing share, and do okay on the video sales, but on the big screen - down the tubes.

I think its something to do with the arcane, drawn-out nature of a lot of the storylines. The Dead Zone series works way better than the film because you've got mysteries that get solved gradually over weeks and months. I mean, something like Lost wouldn't work as a movie either.
