Profiling for terror is dangerous - if you focus all your attention on one ethnic groups another one will slip through and do you. Large parts of Iran are caucasian for example...

Actually, you don't either - it was Richard Reid, and profiling wouldn't have been much good as his father was Jamaican (not a member of the Axis of Evil as far as I know). Admittedly, he did look a bit like an Asian - in the same way Jean Charles de Menezes was shot dead on the London Underground...despite being Brazilian.
