Default Like Palin? I mean WTF?

I click over to "Politicsandcurrentaffairs.com" and what is the first thing that pops up? You ask if I "like Palin". OMG.

Now if you can not see what a stupid question that is, or how dumb a miserable group of inmates we have here on P&C (who conceivably would like Sarah Palin) then? Well I'm sorry I really can't help you. You are so far gone over the top that there is little to no hope for you.

My advice? Find someone to support and care for your kids, give up your drivers license and please retire and exist in some well maintained mental health facility. A locked, gated community with a kind professional staff. And a high fence.

Make no mistake, you are really that sick and twisted if you "like Palin". How about Alan Keyes too? He's another "birther".

Birthers include von Brun of course. And what I find sad and a shock (but no surprise) is that these demented conservatives and republican types maintain their refusal to distance themselves much from von Brun and his kind. Expect Alan Keyes to continue on denying that President Obama is a citizen. And expect Rush Limbaugh to blame the Holocaust museum shooting on the Liberals.

For the politically impaired: Please note that there is nothing more Liberal in concept than a Holocaust memorial. So the idea of blaming the shooting on Liberals indicates that good ol Rush thinks you are as stupid as a sack of rocks. Dumber actually.

And for once I agree with Rush: You are that stupid.

Well what about our more "reasonable conservatives"? Aren't these more moderate types more deserving of an audience? Answer: No. Your basic "moderate conservative" is just a more socially acceptable nutcase. Take syndicated columist Deborah Saunders. This bitch is perfectly glad to blame Nancy Pelosi for torture, and give Micahel Savage a free pass. To name a few.

The radio airwaves and Fox News are dominated by the same mindset as von Brun. Again, make no mistake. Just because Sean Hannity doesn't specifically call for more shootings of Liberals or Jews doesn't make him any different from von Brun at all. These types are made from from the same basic fabric. You can tell them from the complete irrationality of their statements.

He blames the recession (second great depression more like it) on Obama within days of the president's inauguration. Hannity says Obama is a Muslim. Or sympathetic to terrorists. Then Hannity changes Obama to a Christian by associating him with an outspoken Christian minister.

Or Obama is "a socialist". Then he's a "communist". Then he's a "fascist". Depending upon what week it is.

I submit that there is no difference in sanity (lack there of) between Sean Hannity and von Brun.

And you don't have to look at Faux News personalities either. Check out our own conservatives. Gurutoo is absolutely insane. Read his posts at least once. he's flipped. Nothing he posts ever makes sense.

It'll take America a long time to heal from the long term effects of conservatives gone wild. But we will mend.

In the meantime, dear moderators of P & C: Do not ask the public here if we "like Palin". You do not distinguish yourselves.

We don't like Palin. Or Goebbels, & Mengele either. Thank you.

I don't know what the fascination yall have with Palin is. If yall would just quit talking about her she would be forgotten by Tuesday.

If you don't love her, it must be because you fear her.

I fear what she represents. I thought Bush was stupid until she came around. If anyone was going to be a dictator, it would be Sarah Palin. Hopefully, she will go the way of that other one "Dan Quayle" never to be seen again.

I saw the same pop-up. It was a poll for Sarah Palin in 2012 but I think we will never see her again.

I love Palin especially in the dead parrot sketch and I particually enjoyed his round the world in 80 days series he did for the BBC.

A hokey “hockey mom” is not such a person.
After the initial novelty of Palin being McCain's running mate in 2008, which lasted a week or so. It became truly apparent that she was not up for the job as VP on so many levels. Instead of strengthening McCain's ticket, Palin actually contributed to Obama's landslide victory.

For that reason alone I will always be thankful to her.

You are right though Nemo. The GOP need to go back to the drawing board and rethink their strategy. They in short need to reinvent themselves, like our current labour govt in the UK did prior to becoming re-elected again.

Interesting article, thanks for posting. From my observation, he's talking to the hand, though.

Make the most of your small victories. The fact that most of the American people saw straight through your personal attacks and lies about the President during the election must be a bitter pill to swallow.

Fear? I guess you could call it fear, fear that such an moron could have so much support on the national stage, that there are so many people that are batshit insane and stupid that they want her as our next president (some wanted her for the 44th president).
Well, I guess after statements such as proclaiming healthy people who work out to be the burden on our healthcare system as some form of legitimate argument, I'm not too surprised that there is a mass that is that fucking stupid. Yes, I'm quite fearful of just such a mass of arrogant over opinionated morons.
