Disregarding America’s widely scorned state propaganda, there are three true reasons for the invasion and occupation: 1) taking control of Iraq’s oil; 2) forcing Iraq to return to using the dollar instead of the euro for oil payments; 3) eliminating the largest, independent Arab power on behalf of the terrorist, racist State of Israel. Along with its British puppets, the American military destroyed the hopelessly outgunned Iraqi military, once again slaughtering thousands of Iraqi civilian men, women and children in the process. The racist invaders now occupy the country and are continuing the mass murder and terrorization of its people. Cute list. I would throw out much of the wartime stuff however. War by its very nature is terrifying. The treatment of Aboriginal Americans is enough for me to say the white man should pack up and go back where they came from... wonder if I can get a pass based on my 1/16 Cherokee blood? Other wise I have always considered Ireland as a top 2 choice for relocation.

Whomever wrote all that needs a heaping helping of historical context. And where is the condemnation of the Dutch who ran the slave trade and sold the opium for longer than America had been a nation? Or the various native american tribes that conquered and slaughtered one another to form the Indian nations? Or the Africans that almost single-handedly fueled the slave trade, selling their own into slavery? What, no vilification of the Japanese for the Rape of Nanking? Or the Spanish for what they did in the Phillipines? Or the Germans for centuries of barbarity culminating in Hitler's insane walkabout? America came late to the atrocity table, we had, and have, some very good teachers in that regard.

Again why I made the comment about the lack of historical context. If we are evaluating who holds the moral high ground (if such a thing exists in the first place), we've got to look at the world Milieu those events occurred in.
